You can use them to power different types of protection plans across your platform, depending on your users and what you're offering them.\n\nThe setup depends on something we call a product configuration. This defines things like what kind of product you're offering, how long it lasts, what user data is required and what conditions need to be met before a plan can be issued or a claim can be processed.\n\n> Influences how plans are priced, issued, and managed; what user data is required; and how claims are validated \n  \n\nOnce your configuration is in place, the APIs follow a consistent pattern. Whether you're issuing a shop protection plan or handling a claim related to a credit-linked product, the structure stays the same. That makes it easy to scale without rewriting your integration every time.\n\n## We offer two core APIs:\n\n### Policy API\n\nThis is where you issue and manage protection plans\n\nUsing the Policy API, you can\n\n- Create a plan for a single user\n    \n- Issue multiple plans in one go\n    \n- Let users download their plan document\n    \n- Cancel a plan when needed\n    \n\n> Everything about what’s being covered and how long it’s valid is handled by the configuration in the backend. You don’t need to hardcode logic on your side \n  \n\n---\n\n### Claims API\n\nThis is how you let users raise and manage claims\n\nWith the Claims API, you can\n\n- Let users file a claim directly inside your platform\n    \n- Show real-time claim status and history\n    \n- Upload supporting documents like images or bills\n    \n- Download documents for internal checks or support\n    \n\n> Claims can be user-driven or handled by your support team, depending on how you want to set it up. The API works either way \n  \n\n---\n\n### Using them together\n\nMost platforms use both the policy and claims APIs together. You can issue plans when something is bought or activated, then allow users to raise claims via your platform / or our universal claims page if something goes wrong.
